All doors and homes would be open for people to go from house to house to wish each other a prosperous new year and e offered a drink and a bite, and then move on to the next open door. The streets of the village are also alive with food and vendors, and barrels of free-flowing cider and ale. The night would be filled with music food and noise. Music playing, singing and dancing.
